One more language is 100% ready for SMath Studio - [SRP] Српски! Thanks to Radovan again!

It's strange, though, If the program uses the same font, why would it render it correctly in one place and not in another?

Didn't mentioned it earlier... agree, it's strange.

Regards.

Added ability to correct translated strings:

Hint: you can now fill in only your e-mail (if you already have translated any number of strings) - your name will be automatically inserted after you will press Save button.

Hello Andrey,

Great improvement Thank you.

Regards,
Radovan

PS. I suppose that translating Examples string in the Help menu would be for some other time. Actually, I do not know how would that be performed because there are string inside the *.sm file as well.

Strings from the examples files of SMath Studio will be also included to Translator, but, you're right, it is not so easy to do for now. I have ideas, but need some time.

Btw, thanks for the corrections you did!

Hello Andrey,

I finished some corrections and, of course, downloaded the new generated *.lang file. Although I saw that the strings I corrected were inserted along with the previous ones, I could have supposed that there would be a mess (in addition, it seems that someone make a mistake and chose the wrong language and inserted few more strings). Therefore, there were much more strings than needed. At the moment, with the ability to correct the strings I think that the files should not be downloaded and put in the "lang" folder - it will be a total mess. Am I right?

Regards,
Radovan

Thank you Andrey. It seems it is working now. I even tried to correct only one string, downloaded *.lang file and it is working Ok. I am tempted now to make correction more often
I am not quite sure now, how to deal with many corrections from different people before the release of the official version. But this is another issue, and I am convinced that you are going to manage this somehow .

Radovan

The change is more than welcome but now that you mention about the next release, I have to ask: when is it going to be? I don't think I can make all the corrections, not these days (a bit busy). Would it be easier if the users could download the .lang file separately? As a sort of an option. This way, if there are changes to be made after the release, the translators will only have to mail the .lang file and you can just put it on the page and the only updated file that needs downloaded will be the translation, not the whole program. Plus, the .lang file could be directly edited from the translator: a sort of a "live file". Just an idea.

Regards,
Vlad.

Main features implementation finished! Now translators names are correctly included to the result *.lang files. From this moment output files can be shared for every users of SMath Studio. Links to the updated translation files will be added to download page of the last SMath Studio release next days.

No problems. You know, several days I've spent on SMath Translator and no new features was added to SMath Studio. So, new release planned at the end of May, I hope.

That's plenty of time. Another idea: could you add a link to the main page in the translator page? It would be easier to return rather than to re-type the address or search through bookmarks.

Vlad.

Hello Andrey,

Yes, that's right. You could add another link "button" besides Apps (red), Wiki (yellow) and Live (blue).

Regrads,
Radovan

Is it a gentle hint to make link green?

Another improvement done: you will not be requested to fill in your name and e-mail any more (in case you did it at least once [starting from now]).

Oh no, I'm a linux user, no, thank you! But, of course, leaving jokes aside, the colors fit nicely there, as they are. At least, for my eyes...

Regards,
Vlad.

[edit]
Could you add a small link to home in the translator page, as well? Nothing fancy needed, a simple "Home" at the top (corner(s)) would suffice.

Hi Andrey,

I did a little bit of translating for the Dutch translation, but I bumped into a small problem. I changed the translation of a string (ID: 32) and now they both show up in the list, but both link to the first/original string.

Can you have a peek at what happened here before I continue?

Thanks!

I want to share with us that spanish translation of SMath Studio is complete. Now think that is necessary doing a review for correct ortographic/sintactical mistakes.

So, the job continues. I want to encourage Eduardo, Pablo and all who wish to collaborate, to do this review.

Thanks in advance to all of them, and thanks to SMath administrator for the translation interface.

Regards,

Oscar Campo, PhD

Thank you Oscar Campo! It's a pleasure for me that SMath Studio has Spanish language support now.
