strings errors - Messages
#1 Posted: 8/8/2012 2:24:33 PM
Hi
some little issues:
- when you put 2 (or more) identical strings as function arguments an error occurs (something like "an object with the same key has already been added", the error is in the OS language and it's not in the translator list)
- IsString(∞) return the error message "IsString(#) - function is not defined"
edit
- num2str() returns critical errors when inside matrix there are strings with spaces
regards,
w3b5urf3r

Hello w3b5urf3r,
I can confirm all your reports, except that SMath did not crash on your example - again some strange effect on the screen . If those strange regions are moved, other regions can disappear. Some similar thing was reported before. Definitely some bugs are here.
Regards,
Radovan

Hi omorr
thank you
you're right, the crash happens only in some conditions...
1) enable and underline the g(...) function (or the num2str(...) function)
2) try to move the underlined evaluated function
3) when you relase the function, if a white rectangle appear, press the spacebar
4) click on the "exit" button in the error message and SMath becomes "freezed"
the crash is probably a non-issue because it is a consequence of a previous bug
