Cannot update my email - editing profile and saving does not work - Messages

I never know where to post things, so I am posting here.
My current email will become invalid in a few days. Editing my email in edit profile does not update to the new email even though I click save.
Please help me change my email. And give me simple instruction on where to save such a topic. Some simple guidance on this would really help.
