Help with formatting "Description Color" - Messages
#1 Posted: 4/7/2023 9:08:39 PM
I need help with the following, couple of days ago I was working on a Smath sheet but I don't know how it happened, but I accidentally changed the default background color to all text in Smath including the description of variables. It has been really annoying because I haven't been able to change it back so far and it's driving me nuts. Everything I write has a "blue" background by default including the description of variables and I can't change it back to what it used to be.
Any guidance to correct this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Posting your sheet would increase the chance to correct it.

Try this: select all, background white.

Normally, you can't change background of descriptions.
Obviously there is something odd here.
However, you have not posted your sheet or a screenshot even.

Hi. Start SMath with a new blank worksheet. Change the background color to white while the red cross cursor is somewhere in the page. Close and restart SMath.

That's because SMath remember the last back and foreground colors, and font specifications between session if they are changed in that way. If someone want to reproduce the issue, can change the color or fonts in this way. For instance, this is why "Consolas" is the default font there.
Best regards.
Alvaro.
