Matrix Static Condensation - Messages

I am new to SMath and am trying to utilize the program for my Matrix Structural Analysis class. I have a beam with a varying moment of inertia where part of the span is I and the other nI. The purpose of this problem is to be able to develop the matrix as 1 beam instead of two seperate beams using static condensation where K = Kee-Keo*Koo^-1*Koe. Can SMath solve this matrix in terms of a,b, and n?
Attached is my file to give a better idea of what I am trying to accomplish. Note I has been substituted out.

In your example, you get an answer if you ask for symbolic optimization (context menu, right mouse button).
