You can start writing a text region simply by typing the double quotes character (") anywhere in the canvas



You can even use the description area (right click on the math region -> show description) and move it to the side you want dragging his left edge.

Equation [1], [2] are one line, they lineup nicely.
For equation of num/den style: use a construction line
that you will delete after construction.

You can highlight a graph or any math region simply:
1. capture the graph frame using "WinGrab" [freeware]
2. crop the Wingrab selected region
3. copy/paste in IrfanView, inverse colors
