Hi,
I want to ask why it is called "0.89.8 Beta" version of SMath Studio. And also, is it an open-source software, why?
Thanks

Hello,
It is a testing version available to the SMath users for testing which leads to the 0.9 stable version. It is a bit different then the 0.89 stable version.
It is not open-source. The SMath author, Andrey Ivashov, explained the reasons for that many times. However, It is free to use for anyone. Just browse this Forum please, and you will find the detailed explanation of this in many posts. Btw., It can be extendend via plugins by anyone with the appropriate programming skils.
Regards,
Radovan
