application/x-dosexec header problem - Messages
#1 Posted: 7/21/2017 6:14:53 AM
Extension Manager could not update or download, because of company policy of firewall. Perhaps the download items (e.g. http://smath.info/file/HzaDH/MathcadFileAccess.zip) have misconfigured HTTP headers at your webserver: application/x-dosexec for .zip files. Is this file-type definition necessary?
Thank you for your answer!

Hello,
I can't access the server configuration but are you sure about the header?
I see it is a legit application/x-zip-compressed, both from executable and from browser

You were right, I have the same header (application/x-zip-compressed) info in firebug as well. Firewall's 403 error page misled me:
Policy warning: Proceed with caution
Website: http://smath.info/file/HzaDH/MathcadFileAccess.zip
Reason: Download content type is "application/x-dosexec"
Thank you for your help! I think there is nothing I can do here.
