any information about it?

I am interested in this as well. How does the future of SMath development look? The sudden 'stop' of releases is a bit un-assuring when choosing SMath as the tool in which to build a collection of calculation sheets.
Of course I'm grateful for the great work of Andrey et al. But it is not clear (to me) why the development seems to be frozen - is it a matter of funds? Temporarily break? Will it be continued of will it be made open source so others can build on this one-of-a-kind piece of software?
Curious to hear about it!

Hello,
SMath Studio is a hobby project by Andrey Ivashov, with the help of one or more others with access to the source code.
There have been breaks in the development in the past as well, the current one is not exceptionally long.
This is the monthly download statistics of the installer version (all published versions)

I see little need to refactor Smath ... Mine is SS 6179.
Smath like Mathcad/Mathsoft gets all its power from "Utilities".
All or most utilities can be found in "Samples".
Most immediate:
Gamma(x) 15 decimals [Davide, Alvaro]
Integrator adaptive MCD style [Carlos, Jean]
... suggest more.
Cheers ... Jean

... my > 2000 Smath documents run SS 6179, 1.66 GHz Win 7
They all run fine however damned slow on programs that
demand large memory access ... Win ??? Smath ???
Julia is typical of slow conclusion.
Cheers ... Jean
Pattern Julia Set [PUBLISH].sm (175 KiB) downloaded 93 time(s).

I wish Jean Giraud banned from SMath forums except Samples.
And he can send only one post in topic, and only to his own topics.
He would be only able to edit his one post in his own topic.
That is my wish list for SMath.

1. The arithmetic palette can probably be cleaned of 0 ... 9
2. Smath derivative operator is symbolic only ... Ridder style is desirable.
3. Simpson integrator runs from exact/closely exact/total freak.
... adaptive integrator should be added ... Mathsoft style is suggested.
4. actual Gama(x) is not math. I have found not limit using Alvaro Γ(x).
5. ORIGIN [0/1] ... ?
Cheers ... Jean.
