Hello SMATH Studio Experts!

Please see the attached example in MC15 that I cannot seem to get past the first graph of creating current pulses, thus can't move forward attempting to address the actual circuit analysis. The constant current pulses creating the resulting voltage waveform is the goal.

I welcome any suggestions/recommendations to convert the MC scheme to SMATH Studio.

Sincerely,

The function is defined using the cases() function from the Customfunctions plugin.

Apologies for this being a bit off-topic, but it is a good place to contribute given the content.

I have to admit that these were partial steps to my scheme.

Firstly, view this video:

An intriguing thermal model for film-dielectric capacitors. Converting units from initial attributes to electrical units, then finally to temperature, calculating the core temperature of the capacitor is confusing, but it seems an interesting idea.

Sheet: "Thermal Model of Film Capacitor Winding" is my scratch pad, calculating the static results from the video.

Modeling the thermal curve was a challenge until I recalled an old MC sheet, "R-C Network". From that, sheet: "Thermal Model of Film Capacitor Winding - 1" seems to produce a profile that is similar to the "SIMULATION" profile from the video.

Math is indeed fun as one of the Smath Solver startup splash screens cites. That is of course when the ansatz comes together and produces a solution!
