Smath and Excel Data Exchange - Input Multiple Values into Excel and export them back to Smath - Messages

I'm struggling to piece this together -
I'd like to use and excel spreadsheet with smath. This seems doable with the DataExchange plugin. I'd like to have a series of "input" values that would go to the excel workbook in specific cells. Then the excel workbook book does some calculations and I would "extract" the results from the workbook back to smath. Also can the file path be relative?
For example, say the excel program calculates bending moments and deflections. Then the loads are derived in smath and sent to the excel program then finds reactions and bending moments and sends them back to smath. In addition to this is it possible to have multiple beams that use the single beam program? I suppose that part might not be possible.
Thanks,
Ryan

I see, thank you.
So are all the features now part of the Data Exchange Plugin?

I see. thanks.
It would be nice to go back and forth between an excel sheet and smath without overwriting then entire excel workbook as was discussed in the thread you referenced me to.
thanks again!
Off topic I can't seem to post from Internet Explorer 11. The post 'button' does not do anything.... I know if your using IE you've got bigger problems....I think it's making a comeback though.
