Hello,

for online teaching it would be fine to be able to edit an SMath sheet in the cloud and let the students see what you are doing (automatic refresh of what they see).

This should just require sending a link to the students without the need for an account. Similar to sharing worksheets. This, however, shares static snapshots of your sheet.

The use case would be to have some audio connection and being able to use SMath as blackboard without the need for screen sharing.

This might be particularly interesting for those instructors without touchscreen and pen, because the equation editor is fast and easy to use after some initial trial and error phase.

Any chance to have such a feature?

Extensions could be:
- make the instructor's pointer visible to students
- handle multiuser editing, eventually with explicit handover of editor rights without simultaneous editing.

Yes, that would do the trick. However, I found that the most recent version having the feature is build 5154.
Yet, I was not able to establish a connection.

Error message essentialy saying: time-out

What is meant by the 'server'? can this be any machine running SMath Studio? Or was there a dedicated service at smath.info?
