This document is part of a suite of fitting methods under construction.
By itself, the continued fraction is stand alone but for short length,
the J_Frac J(b,x) is preferred. The Smath/Maple does not convert as
conveniently as Mathsoft/Mathcad. I found no way to "float" coefficients.
The manual conversion is fine as long as it can evaluate.
