I have solved one of the text book problems using SMATH. Hopefully, someone will benefit.

Thank you Sir... I am an undergraduate in e.e. and appreciate your contribution. I often spend hours trying to work the syntax of SMath/Maxima plugin so having references is nice. I'm not sure if SMath leaves me scratching me head less than Matlab but I'm a beginner so I'll have to stay at it.

I am Happy it`s of use to you. I will post more examples in future. Also, I get a lot of help from the forum and I would like to acknowledge their contribution too. I have recently completed an example on Bode plots, I will post that shortly.
